Our Resource Integration for Social Empowerment (RISE) service gives universal social services to deprived communities in a 360º holistic approach tackling extreme poverty in all its forms.
This innovative business model, that integrates innovative technologies tailored to the specific needs of each population, brings an affordable and scalable service with a sustained maintenance during the years solving the different people's basic needs at the same time.
Governments, companies, multinational institutions, NGOs, individuals and/or the same communities can hire our services, paying for the first 5 years of RISE aiming to improve communities quality of life and make them self-sustainable after that.
In order to norm all the interactions between the stakeholders we developed a governance platform. This platform allows us to have a multi model governance (participatory, collaborative, regulatory and multilevel) aligning our actions and processes for the best outcomes and give us the best information so as to improve, make better future decisions and ensure stability, transparency and efficiency. For every community we take in consideration their livelihood patterns, cultural behavior and context, so as to co-create with them the final model design of the RISE, understanding their elements of value, defining the scale and time of the implementation and maximizing their adoption of the services. Once we have designed the final implementation plan, we deploy the infrastructure needed for the municipal services, from which every person of the community will get served. Technical specifications are tailored and defined for every community according to their Master Implementation Plan. All the infrastructure has maintenance throughout the service period. We then introduced social services for men, women and young people to develop values and life skills that allow them to make good life decisions facing the challenges of their environment. They will also secure an efficient benefit for the infrastructure introduced. All the services are given working in collaboration with the local authorities and in partnership with experienced institutions. During this continuous phase along the service period we cover:
Aiming for sustainable development we need to generate employment opportunities. Decent work is the only way people can fend for themselves. Along with our community of partners we explore opportunities in traditional sectors but also within the digital economy, going from low knowledge services up to high digital skills services. Our approach of being a bridge between every community and the markets gives every person the chance to be hired but also to work in a cooperative way and/or begin their own startup. All the activities are developed under a framework of corporate social responsibility, telling the story of every community and looking for responsible consumers also. During this continuous phase along the service period we cover and explore:
Economic development of each community opens the opportunity for entrepreneurial activities, new business and investments. We help all these endeavors with different tools, like microfinancing, and strategic partnerships. We also focus on developing traditional value chains in handicrafts and agribusiness at a scale that enables us to cover service costs from year six onward, ensuring the community's self-sustainability.
Knowing there is no silver bullet, we will continuously seek and evaluate new technologies, processes and solutions so as to adapt and integrate in a smart way the ones that have the potential to improve our service. RISE will evolve consistently, gaining maturity, reducing different risks and amplifying the community's diversity.
